Bachata Level 1.5

Service Description

Level 1.5 is designed for dancers who have completed 4–6 months of Level 1 and are ready to explore more intricate movement, musicality, and flow before stepping into intermediate. This weekly class introduces more challenging partnerwork patterns, directional changes, and styling elements that build on your foundation. You’ll deepen your understanding of connection, body control, and lead/follow dynamics while learning to transition smoothly between movements with confidence. In addition, this class may include an introduction to sensual movement—helping you connect with the music and your partner on a deeper level by exploring fluidity, subtle isolations, and expressive body language that bring sensual bachata’s signature intimacy to life. Think of this class as the bridge between beginner and intermediate—a space to strengthen what you’ve learned while expanding your skills and expression. Expect partner rotation, helpful feedback, and lots of opportunity to grow as a social dancer. 📍 Every Wednesday at 6:00 PM 10847 Oxnard St, North Hollywood, CA 91606 Prerequisite: Minimum of 4–6 months of Level 1 Bachata is required. This class is open to returning students as a drop-in or with a 5-class pack.
